Eddie Ausband – CEO

Eddie resides in McDonough, GA and traces his family back six generations in Henry County. He is a 1982 graduate of the Terry Business School at the University of Georgia. Since graduating, he has spent his entire career working in and starting small, local businesses.

His experience started in the automobile industry where he ultimately served as a young 23 year-old Dealer Principal of a GM dealership. The dealership was sold in 1991, which led to starting an insurance agency some 30 years ago. In 2022, that agency was merged with two others, and he serves as CEO of the new entity, Ausband Chapman Insurance & Financial. He also has some 20 concurrent years of experience in the investment industry. In 2009, he bought a fire and water mitigation franchise in Gwinnett County, representing industry leader, Servpro. His operation ranks among the top 200 in the country.

Eddie has always made a conscious effort to serve. Over the years, he has chaired the Henry Co United Way effort, chaired the Henry Co Chamber of Commerce, served as the Henry Co representative to the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC), and co-chaired the Atlanta Regional Workforce Board. More recently, in 2023, he was appointed by Gov. Kemp to the board of directors for the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG), serves as Vice-chairman of the Henry Co Development Authority, an emeritus member of the Terry College Alumni Board for the University of Georgia, and chairman of the Finance Committee for First Baptist Church of McDonough.

He is married to Allison Ausband, a 40-year executive with Delta Air Lines, and has three grown children and five grandchildren. His favorite pastime is spending time at the lake or beach with the entire family and playing golf.

Brad Ausband – CMO

Accomplished insurance professional with over three decades of experience delivering tailored solutions to safeguard the interests of families and businesses. Since launching his career in 1992 as a Nationwide agency owner, Brad has built a reputation for integrity, expertise, and client-focused service. In 2003, he transitioned to the independent agency sector, where he continues to provide customized insurance strategies and trusted guidance, leveraging his deep industry knowledge to meet the unique needs of his clients.

Brad and his family have a nonprofit organization, Batters Up Foundation, that supplies athletic equipment and supports young athletes in underserved communities throughout Atlanta. Brad earned a Business Administration degree from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business. He and his wife are actively involved in the University of Georgia’s Parent Leadership Council. The PLC makes a direct impact on undergraduate student life, aiding in financial support, preparing students for their futures, and committing to research and solving problems in communities. Brad continues to support Lamda Chi Alpha fraternity and their mission to inspire and equip young men to live a life of service and leadership.

James Chapman – COO

Chief Operating Officer at Ausband Chapman Insurance, overseeing operations across five locations and leading a dedicated team focused on delivering personalized insurance solutions. A U.S. Army combat veteran and results-driven leader with a focus on operational excellence, client retention, and growth strategy. Chairman of the Covington Downtown Development Authority and District 1 Representative for the Newton County Board of Zoning Appeals. Passionate about using technology and process improvement to elevate team performance and client outcomes. James is a resident of Social Circle, GA with his wife and daughter. His favorite pastime is spending time with family by the pool and woodworking.
